Manny Pacquiao and the SF Giants Pitch For Bantay Bata

A special treat is coming for sports-loving Filipino-Americans this April as boxing champ Manny Pacquiao links up with the San Francisco Giants on the 21st to deliver a knockout of a Filipino Heritage Night game. In its second year of celebrating Filipino culture and sports fandom, the Giants have not only invited Pacquiao as the guest of honor, but they are making the occasion even more commemorative by donating part of the proceeds from gate receipts to Bantay Bata.

Filipino Heritage Night at the AT&T Park in San Francisco will begin with pre-game festivities at 3 p.m., and includes song and dance numbers amid a Filipino expo at Seals Plaza at McCovey Cove. The game kicks off in the evening, pitting the visiting the San Diego Padres against the hometown Giants. Tickets are at only $20 and includes a limited edition bobble-head doll of Pacquiao.
