Chicagoans Fete and Celebrate BayaniJuan

The Holidays for the BayaniJuan program came early through the courtesy of BayaniJuan Team Chicago, headed by entrepreneur Bernard Bartilad, who celebrated a special one-night, three-party event in the Windy City just recently. Bernard organized a packed and fun-filled fundraising evening that saw friends, family and supporters come out for cocktails, dinner and drinks in three different locations throughout Chicago. The group, which celebrated the evening under the banner of BayaniJuan Team Chicago, looks to help fund the construction of 20 houses in Oas, Bicol province – among the most distressed regions in the Philippines. Together, the team was able to raise more than $4,000 that evening, which helped kick off Thanksgiving and the Holidays not only for Bernard and Team Chicago, but for BayaniJuan’s many beneficiaries in Oas.
